Abstract: We developed novel nylon imprinting method for efficient optical resolution of amino acid, phenylalanine(PhA). The method was partially modified with phase inversion imprinting of nylon being used as polymer in formic acid solution in the presence of the target molecule. Before the solidification water, the cast-polymer solution was heated at 50°C to evaporate the solvent. Then, phase inversion imprinting was carried out. The resultant imprinted membranes showed morphology with micro size spheres, which form their assembly and recognized D and L-PhA from its mixture solution.
