Abstract: Using N-[(tert-Butoxy)carbonyl]-L-tryptophan as the template molecule,3-aminopropyl triethoxysilane as a functional monomer, tetraethyl orthosilicate as crosslinker,a type of molecular imprinted monolithic column was prepared with sol-gel method. The main factors for preparation, such as temperature, acidity and other conditions, were optimized.Pore size distribution of the polymer was characterized by nitrogen adsorption.Polymer contained mesoporous of the template molecule. The average diameter was about 63 μm.Imprinted monolithic column which was preparated was used as analysis of N-Boc-DL-tryptophan and achieved rapid baseline separation for enantiomers.Separation was 1.31.
Template and target information: N-[(tert-Butoxy)carbonyl]-L-tryptophan
Author keywords: Molecularly imprinted polymers, monolithic column, sol-gel method, high performance liquid chromatography
