Abstract: A novel surface imprinting material based on multi-wall carbon nanotubes(MWNT/MIPs) modified with polyethylene glycol was successfully synthesized with a precipitation polymerization method by using ursolic acid(UA) as template, methacrylic acid(MAA) as functional monomer, and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as cross-linker.The MWNT/MIP was characterized by IR and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The results showed that a stable, uniform imprinted materials layer was grafted on the surface of MWNT.The adsorption capacity of UA on MWNT/MIPs was measured by high performance liquid chromatography.A maximum apparent adsorption capacity of 100.1 μmol/g for the imprinted polymers toward UA was obtained. As solid phase extraction materials, the imprinted polymers extracted UA from actinidia chinensis planch successfully with the concentration enrichment factor of 5.35.
