Abstract: Sudan Red I molecular imprinting polymer was prepared by molecular imprinting technique using Sudan Red I as the template molecule,methacylic acid as a monomer,pentaerythritol triacylate as a cross linker and 2,2-Azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN) as the initiator.The paper makes a study of selective adsorption functions of imprinting polymer and non-imprinting polymer over Sudan Red I through static equilibrium and Scatchard's analysis.The findings show that the imprinting polymer has higher affinity for Sudan Red I,offering a new approach to selective enrichment and fast testing of Sudan Red I.
