Abstract: Oxytetracycline(OTC) molecular imprinted particles and carbon paste were mixed to prepare OTC molecular imprinted carbon paste sensor. The sensor could specifically recognize OTC and horseradish peroxidase(HRP) labeled OTC by the competition replacement reaction between them. The labeled HRP catalyzed the reaction between H2O2 and mediator hydroquinone, and the detection of OTC was based on the voltammetric monitoring of the electroreduction of the oxidized mediator, benzoquinone.A linear relationship between response current and logarithm of concentrations of OTC in the concentration range of 0.008-0.6 μmol/L was obtained with a detection limit of 1.8 nmol/L.The sensor renewal was achieved by a simple mechanical polishing step of sensors'surface. The sensor is easy to prepare and use,low cost, high sensitivity and easy renewal. The sensor has been successfully applied to the determination of OTC in milk samples. The recoveries were 93.8%-96.6%.
