Abstract: Co2+ metal of chitosan chelated resins were synthesized by using Co2+ and chitosan as the main raw materials, epichlorohyarin and isopropyl acohol as the crosslinking agent. The absorption behaviors were studied in details by investing the effect of pH,temperature and the kinetic experiment was also studied. The results indicated that the imprinting CTS chelated resins had little adsorbing ability when pH was 3.5.During 3.5~6.0 pH,the adsorbing ability will become larger with the pH value increased. The absorption of Co2+ metal of chitosan chelated resins was best described by the second-order equation: t/Q=0.0077+0.0048 t.The adsorbing behavior of Co2+ chitosan chelated resins was mainly multi-molecular layers heterogeneous adsorption, which could be well fitted by the Freundlich isotherm equation. The adsorbing of Co2+ would be increased in pace with the increasing of temperature in the range of 30~90 °C,and got highest point at 70 °C,then turn down.
