Abstract: Hydrophilic molecularly imprinted core-shell structured polymers (MIPs) were prepared, and the adsorption and separation property of MIPs were investigated. Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) were prepared using distillation precipitation polymerization (DPP) method. The interaction between template molecule UR and functional monomer MMA was studied by UV spectrometry. The adsorption kinetic behavior, equilibrium and selectivity of UR onto the MIPs were investigated by conducting a series of batch adsorption experiments. The separation capability of this MIPs to UR and its analog was evaluated when it worked as a HPLC column filling. The results show that the pseudo-first-order kinetic model provides a good correlation for the adsorption of UR onto MIPs. The adsorption of the imprinted molecule UR onto MIPs is fitted well to the Freundlich equation. The MIPs chromatographic column has a selective distinguish ability for UR and its analog
