Abstract: A series of molecular imprinted polymers (MIP) were prepared through bulk polymerization by using Salvianolic acid A as the template molecule, acrylamide (AM), methacrylic acid (MAA), 2-vinylpyridine(2-VP) or 4-vinylpyridine (4-VP) as the functional monomer, and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate(EGDMA) as the cross-linker in the porogen of acetone, ethyl acetate, acetonitrile or methanol. The adsorption ability and selectivity of the polymer were investigated by static equilibrium adsorption experiment and selectivity experiment, respectively.Scatchard analysis was employed to study the binding characteristics of MIP.The results indicated that the imprinted polymer prepared using acetone as the porogen,AM as the functional monomer, and the molar ratio of functional monomer to template at 6:1,exhibited the highest binding amount.Scatchard analysis revealed that two classes of binding sites were formed in the MIP.and the MIP exhibited good adsorption ability and selective ability toward Salvianolic acid A.
