Abstract: A biomimetic microsensor for urea was designed based on molecular imprinting and electrochemical detection, and the integrated electrodes of the sensor were fabricated in MEMS process for realization of miniaturization. The molecular imprinting polymer (MIP) was prepared through electro-polymerization, and its imprinting effect was verified. The response curves of three sensors were compared, showing that they have similar sensitivities around 0.10 μA/ (μmol L-1), linearity of 0.95, and the detection limitation of 1.00 μmol/mL. The standard deviation in urea solution analysis is less than 5%, which is up to or close to the requirement for clinical application. The proposed sensor is a satisfactory development from bio-sensors to biomimetic sensors
