Abstract: A molecularly imprinted polymer(MIP)microsphere using levofloxacin as template molecule,MAA as function monomer,EDMA as cross-linking agent was synthesized via precipitation polymerization. The surface morphologies and characteristics of the microsphere were characterized by infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The adsorption properties and selective adsorption capacity of polymer microsphere for the template and the anologues were determined by the static adsorption equilibrium experiments and the Scatchard analysis. The results showed that the adsorption was fast and the adsorption equilibrium was achieved in 40 min.The adsorption process of MIP upon template could be described by a pseudo-second-order kinetics. There were two kinds of binding sites in the MIP and the dissociation constants were 0.672 mmol/L and 1.541 mmol/L,respectively.The maximum adsorption capacities of the two kinds of binding sites were 313 μmol/g and 378 μmol/g,respectively.Compared with the corresponding non-imprinted polymer,MIP exhibited better adsorption properties and selectivity for the template and the anologues.
