Abstract: The advance of synthesis methods of molecular imprinted polymer microspheres (MIPMs) were reviewed. The novel MIPMs synthesis methods of surface molecular imprinting polymers,core-shell molecularly imprinted polymers,molecularly imprinted polymers based on β-cyclodextrins were specially introduced. The study progress of commonly used methods of precipitation polymerization, swelling polymerization and suspension polymerization were also stated. At last, the future development prospects of MIPMs was proposed.
