Abstract: In order to improve the selective adsorption of adsorbent for Cu(II) ion and reduce the heavy metal ion pollution in wastewater, a Cu(II) ion imprinted magnetic composite adsorbent (Cu(II)-IMB) was synthesized by using Cu(II) as imprinted ion, chitosan (CS) as imprinted matrix, fungal mycelium as core, nano-Fe3O4 as magnetic component. Effects of prepared conditions and ways on Cu(II) ion adsorption were studied and the optimal prepared conditions were determined by response surface methodology in order to get the best adsorption capacity of Cu(II)-IMB. Results show that using Cu(II) of CuSO4 as imprinted template, 2g mycelium/0.2g CS, 2.99g ECH, 0.505g Fe3O4 and 25.245 mg imprinted Cu(II), the Cu(II)-IMB with high adsorption capacity of 82.85% and Cu(II) removal rate of 33.8 mg/g can be obtained. Cu(II)-IMB is low cost and can be recycled more than five times easily. It has high selective adsorption for imprinted Cu(II) and has a good application prospect.
