Abstract: Molecularly imprinted polymer membranes were prepared with 2-aminopyridine as template molecule, methacrylic acid ( MAA) as functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as cross-linker, and azoisobutyronitrile as initiator by ultraviolet-initiated polymerization in the presence of microporous polytetrafluoroethylene filter, and the selective permeation was studied for the 2-aminopyridine and its analogues. The membrane morphology and the interaction between 2-aminopyridine and methacrylic acid were also characterized. The results showed that the complex of 2-anminopyridine and MAA with the ratio of 1:2 was formed in the aqueous solution; the imprinted polymer membranes could be used for the separation of 2-anminopyrdine and its analogues
