Synthesis of molecular imprinted polymers for methyl dopa with different functional monomers.

Abstract: OBJECTIVE To select a suitable functional monomer to prepare molecula. METHODS Molecular imprinted polymers were sythesiged with 4-VP,MAA and AM as functional monomers in different solution,useing UV as a detechion. RESULTS The polymer taking AM as functional monomer and CH_3OH-CH_3CN (1:1) as solvent obtained higher selectivity for methyl dopa. CONCLUSION Molecular imprinted polymers exhibit clinical utility for enrichment and determination of trace methyl dopa.
