Abstract: The polymers that have specific binding ability to inorganic phosphate were prepared by molecular imprinting technique and the specificity of the polymers for inorganic phosphate was evaluated in aqueous media. The phosphate-selective polymers with guanidil group in the binding sites were also prepared and the binding abilities of the imprinted polymers to phosphate were evaluated in the presence of impurities.
