Abstract: This paper describes the synthesis and use of a molecularly imprinted polymers(MIPs) against estradiol(E2) and ethynylestradiol(EE) as sorbents for on-column solid phase extraction of E2,EE and Diethylstilbestrol(DES) from aqueous complex samples.Combined with HPLC analysis, the method for estrogen determination based on molecularly imprinted solid phase extraction technology was developed, with lower detection limit of 0.1mg/L,and recovery rate above 80%.The method has been successfully applied to the analysis of estrogens in spiked river water, urine and milk samples, with recoveries of 88%,88% and 82% respectively.
Template and target information: estradiol, E2, ethynylestradiol, EE, Diethylstilbestrol, DES
Author keywords: Molecularly-imprinted polymers, solid phase extraction, Estrogen
