Abstract: Caffeine-imprinted polymer used caffeine as a template molecule was synthesized for the purpose of selective elimination for caffeine including in foods and drinking water. And then, for the polymer, an adsorption characteristic for caffeine was compared to those of some guest molecules, and the polymer have selective adsorption for caffeine was selected. Furthermore, for the polymer, elimination and collection for caffeine including in green tea was examined, and the adsorption characteristic of the imprinted polymer was evaluated. (author abst.)
