Abstract: Molecular imprinting technique (MIT) has predominant recognition and selectivity. MIT applied in food safety detection will have a good potential. The appearance, development and basic principle of MIT were introduced, and the applications and development of MIT in food safety detection techniques were reviewed,including in solid phase extraction, sensor, chromatographic analysis and membrane separation.
