Abstract: On the theoretical basis of surface polymerization, different kinds of molecularly imprinted polymers based on modified silica gel were prepared. The thermal polymerization was initiated by azo-initiator grafted on silica surface in heptane or acetonitrile using pirimicarb as template and EDMA as crosslinker, and choosing different functional monomers. The MIPs obtained were used in solid-phase extraction (SPE) and detected the specific absorption property by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).The results showed that TFMAA and heptance were necessary for the MIP with high-performance recognition with 8.60 of the selectivity coefficient in aqueous solution, and 7.29 of the relative selective coefficient compared to NIP.It was deduced from different loading solutions results that the polymers and pirimicarb mainly could combine through hydrogen bond.Besides, there was still being electrostatic interaction between MIP and pirimicarb in aqueous solution. The MIP had good specific adsorption and separation of pirimicarb in further comparison with C18,thus this study will provide reference and basis for the further improvement of trace detection for pirimicarb in fruits and vegetables by MIP-SPE-HPLC.
