Abstract: Melamine imprinted polymer particles were prepared by the copolymerization of methacrylic acid as monomer and ethylene glycol dinethacrylate as crosslinking agent where melamine was the imprint molecular in presence of 2,2'-azo-bis-isobutyronitrile as initiator in methanol solution by non-covalent molecular imprinting method.The tests showed that the imprinted polymer beads can preconcentrate melamine in methanol solution with good selectivity and the enrichment rate of melamine from liquid milk can reach 98% or above.The synthesis and binding mechanism of melamine imprinted polymer were preliminary analysed by the application of UV and infrared spectra method.
