Abstract: The molecularly imprinted polymers have high selectivity for target molecule and possessed high thermal and chemical stability.Owing to these advantages, they have applied in many fields such as catalysis, chromatography separation and solid phase extraction. One of the hot topics in molecularly imprinted technique in recent years is to use molecularly imprinted polymers as sensitive materials of sensors. The preparation methods of electrochemical sensors based on molecularly imprinted polymers and the recent progress of electrochemical sensor have been reviewed in this paper.
