Synthesis and Evaluation of the Chrysophanol Molecularly Imprinted Polymers.

Abstract: A molecularly imprinted polymer was polymerized using Chrysophanol as the imprinted molecule, 4-vinylpyridine as a functional monomer and ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (EDMA) as a cross-linker. The recognition property of the MIP was evaluated by static adsorption and Scatchard analysis. It showed that the imprinted polymer exhibited much higher affinity for Chrysophanol among the tested compounds.
