Preparation of Cu2+ Selective Electrode by Silica Matrix Molecular Imprinting Technology.

Abstract: By using 3-(2-aminoethylamino)propyltrimethoxysilane as functional molecule, and copper ion as template, copper ion selective electrode is prepared. The process includes the combination of two technologies of sol-gel and molecular imprinting. The mechanism of responding of the electrode is also discussed. Its linear responding scope is 5.00 x 10-2 ~ 3.98 x 10-6 mol L-1, with the slope of 31.5 mV/pC to copper ion, and the detect limiting is 1.00 x 10-6 mol L-1. Besides, the electrode shows better selectivity, reproducibility and stability.
