Abstract: Molecular imprinting is a new chemical analysis technique developed quickly in 90's last century. It is described as making artificial "lock" method for the "molecular key". It is widely used in bio sensor like devices, membrane separation technology, antibody mimics , catalysis and artificial enzyme mimics, SPE, analysis of drugs ,determination of herbicides residue. This paper reviewed the origin, preparation principle and methods of MIPs and its application.
