An appeal for information:
During the recent MIP2018 conference in Jeruslaem, it was decided at the board meeting that an effort should be made to improve engagement with industry and to encourage delegates from companies to attend future MIP meetings. Sergey Piletsky has prepared the following letter to the MIP community, with the intention of gathering the necessary information. Please reply to Prof. Piletsky via his email address

Dear Colleagues,
As agreed during the last Board meeting we would try to make efforts to see better representation from Industry at future MIP conferences. For this reason, as elected Champion for this activity, I am appealing for your help in gathering the necessary information. Specifically I would appreciate if you could let me know:
- What companies, local or international, might be interested in joining our Conference and what type of research they might support?
- Do you have names and contact details of company representatives that might be interested in getting involved in the commercialisation of MIPs? Please note that you need to ask permission to release their contact details.
- Would you like to share your experiences of working with industry, whether this is good or bad?
Please write to my e-mail address (below) if you have other comments that might be useful for this exercise.
With very best wishes,
Sergey
