Article Title: Selective decontamination of aflatoxin M1 in milk by molecularly imprinted polymer coated on the surface of stainless steel plate.

Abstract: The aim of the present study was to develop new molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) to coat stainless steel plates for the removal of aflatoxin M1 (AFM1), which is a serious concern in the safety of milk and dairy products. Scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy tests confirmed that MIPs successfully coated the stainless steel plates. The MIPs were applied to extract AFM1 from milk spiked with 0.5 to 50 ng/mL AFM1. The MIPs removed 87.3 - 96.2% of the AFM1 without any notable effects on the milk composition. The results also showed that the imprinting factors of DMC, AFM1, AFB1, and AFG1 were 5.93, 4.61, 3.41, and 2.72, respectively
