Abstract: Molecular imprinted polymers (MIPs) coated quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) sensors were fabricated for the detection of Bisphenol A (BPA) in the liquid phase. The MIP-QCM sensor was designed for the selective detection. MIPs, contained specific cavities by self organized structure of functional monomers around a template, was synthesized, and was evaluated selective adsorption characteristics for BPA. The MIPs were applied on QCM Au electrode. The MIP-QCM sensor as novel molecular recognition device was investigated in respect of the structure in sensitive membrane on QCM. Through investigations, the fabrication processes that the structure of sensitive membrane taken into consideration was proved to be applicable to molecular recognition system. (author abst.)
