Abstract: The biosensor was prepared by molecular imprinted technique with digoxin-specific adsorption properties. Firstly the imprinted polymer particles were prepared. Then, particles and the agarose were mixed in proportion. The molecular imprinted polymer film sensor for the digoxin was fixed by the mixture on a glassy carbon electrode (GC). The sensor had specific combination of template molecule-digoxin and its electrochemical signals associated with the template concentration. Thus, it could be used to detect digoxin levels in serum. The molecular imprinted biosensor had advantages of simple, low cost, rapid detection, high specificity, and good stability. The detection limit of the biosensor was 1.28 nmol/L and detection time was 5 min.
