Abstract: Molecular imprinting technology is a separation technology with high selectivity. The general preparation process is to pre-organize the target molecular and functional monomer by covalent or non-covalent bond, followed by polymerizing the pre-organized solution containing crosslinker. The preparation method has experienced the change from free radical polymerization, to suspension and emulsion polymerization, to living/controlling polymerization. The application form has experienced the change from bulk polymer, to microsphere, to molecular imprinting membrane. The application of molecular imprinting polymer and molecular imprinting membrane in sensor fields was summarized.
