Abstract: Objective:To prepare a baicalein molecularly imprinted monolithic column and study its specific recognition ability. Methods:A baicalein molecularly imprinted monolithic column was prepared by in-situ polymerization using methacrylic acid(MAA) as a functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate(EDMA) as a crosslinking agent, the mixture of dimethylformamide(DMF) and dodecanol as porogenic reagent, and 2,2'-azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN) as an initiator. The specific recognition ability for baicalein and wogonin was studied in different mobile phase.Effects of flow rate and temperature on retention and separation factor were investigated. Results:The best ratio of template and functional monomer was 1:6.The baicalein molecularly imprinted monolithic polymer has specific recognition ability for the baicalein molecule.Baicalein and wogonin were separated successfully. Conclusion:The prepared molecularly imprinted monolithic column can be used as the separation media of baicalein with high affinity and good specific recognition ability.
