Abstract: A series of molecularly imprinted monolithic columns(MIMC) were synthesized using a-methacrylic acid as functional monomers, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as crosslinker, the mixture of toluene and dodecadol as porogenic reagent and emodin as template molecules by in-situ polymerization. The trends of retention factors of imprinted and reference polymers were investigated. The MIMC synthesized under optimum conditions could efficiently separate emodin and its analogues. From the pore analytical data of molecularly imprinted polymer and reference polymer,it was found that there were two different kinds of pore distribution profiles in the former, whereas only one in the latter.
Template and target information: emodin
Author keywords: molecularly imprinted monolithic column, Emodin, in-situ polymerization, Retention factor
