Abstract: A one-pot methodology was successfully developed to synthesize chiral imprinted silica nanospheres with hollow and mesoporous structures. These silica nanospheres demonstrated high capacity and chiral selectivity for l- or d-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (l- or d-DOPA) and possessed potency for l-DOPA controlled release
