Abstract: Using paracetamol as an imprinted molecule, acrylamide as functional monomers, and EDMA as crosslinking agent, a polymer was prepared by molecular imprinting technique. The polymer was loaded into the self-made solid-phase extraction (SPE) cartridge. A SPE procedure was described for extracting and concentrating paracetamol using water and acetonitrile as the loading solvent. In order to optimize the washing and eluting solution, the adsorption of paracetamol in aqueous solution with the different percentage of methanol was studied. It was found that the paracetamol and two analogues (phenacetin and p- tertiary butylphenol) were separated primely, and the paracetamol content in medicine (Endophy) was determined successfully, with the recovery being 94.3%
