Abstract: We prepared the fragment imprinted polymers for target compound, domoic acid(amnesic shellfish poison)that has 4 chiral centers and 3 carboxyl groups, using various carboxylic acids as the pseudo template molecules.These polymers showed the high selective recognition for domoic acid.It seemed that the selectivity for domoic acid was based on the acidity and/or the structural similarity between template molecules and domoic acid.
