Abstract: Quantum Dots has become more and more important in analytical chemistry, bioscience and medicine because of its excellent optical speciality and photochemical stability. Molecular imprinting is a technique for the preparation of polymers of predetermined specificity. The incorporation of quantum dots into surface molecularly imprinted polymers can offer both excellent optical speciality and high selectivity.In this review, we summarized the theory and characteristic of quantum dots and molecular imprinting, as well as the development and the expectation of the incorporation of quantum dots and surface molecularly imprinting.
