Abstract: Fe3O4-chitosan(Fe3O4-CTS) magnetic imprinted particles were synthesized by one-step coprecipitation and ion imprinting technique. The Fe3O4-CTS imprinted particles and black particles were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),Vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM),thermogravimetric analysis(TG) and zeta potential. The influence of the factors(pH,the amount of adsorbents, initial concentration of Cu2+, contact time and temperature) on the adsorption capacity was investigated. Resulting, for the imprinted particles, the optimum condition is listed as following: pH of 6,adsorption time of 4 h. The adsorption gets the equilibrium under the condition of initial Cu2 +concentration of 120 mg/g,the amount of adsorbents of 50 mg. The adsorption capacity is 21. 304 mg/g.
