Abstract: In this study the authors present a general method to prepare magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers for prednisolone. The resulting Fe3O4@MIPs nanoparticles possessed a highly improved imprinting effect, fast adsorption kinetics, and high adsorption capacity and can be applied to extract prednisolone in plasma samples. In this case, we were synthesized prednisolone magnetic nanoparticles coated with imprinted polymer by using a semicovalent imprinting method.
