Abstract: Nitrocellulose, a kind of explosive substances, is widely used in the commercial and military field. It is harmful to public safe and environment. In order to protect personnel from explosion of nitrocellulose, it must be unambiguously detected in real time. At present, the explosive substances are mainly detected and analyzed by the analytical instruments. However, the most of these methods are very expensive and time-consuming, which restricts its widespread use. Compared to the spectral methods, electrochemical analysis presents advantages such as simplicity, high sensitivity and low cost. Combining with the molecular imprinting methodology with electrochemical sensor technology has been used in the filed of nitro explosives detection. But there is no report on the detection of NC by MIP sensor at moment. So the purpose of paper is a preparation of MIP sensor for detection nitrocellulose
