Abstract: A novel anion-imprinted and fluorescent sensing microspheres (IFMMs) is presented, which not only could imprint the Cr(VI) anions, but also could detect the Cr(VI) by changing fluorescence before and after imprinting. The IFMMs is prepared by precipitation polymerization, using SiO2 coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4/SiO2) as the seeds, N-vinyl carbazole (NVC) as fluorescent monomer, N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) as polymerizable monomers, divinylbenzene (DVB) as cross-linker and Cr(VI) anion as the template. The result shows that the microspheres have good imprinting and sensing properties for Cr(VI). The maximum adsorption capacity of Cr(VI) in aqueous solution is 90.84 mg/g and the maximum adsorption efficiency is 85.31%. © 2016, China National Chemical Information Center. All right reserved.
