Abstract: A novel electrochemical sensor based on molecularly imprinted technique has been fabricated for simultaneous determination of DA and AA. Dopamine (DA) and ascorbic acid (AA) were selected as the template molecules and acid chrome blue K was selected as a functional monomer. The molecules imprinted electrochemical sensor was constructed by electropolymerizing functional monomer and template molecular on the surfaces of the electrode and then the template molecule was eluted from the molecular imprinted polymer. The sensor was applied to simultaneous determination of AA and DA, and the potential difference between the oxidation peaks could reach 300 m V. The sensor is highly sensitive, with good reproducibility and stability. The limits of detections could reach 6.20 x 10-11 mol/L and 1.65 x 10-8 mol/L for DA and AA, respectively. The sensor has also been used in the detection of DA and AA in human urine.
