Abstract: O-phenylenediamine as a functional monomer, dioxopromethazine hydrochloride (DPZ) as a template molecule, preparation and characteristics of a molecularly imprinted electrode for dioxopromethazine hydrochloride were studied, and a new electrochemical analysis method for determination of hydrochloric dioxopromethazine. Selectivity and sensitivity of the electrode were studied by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. The results show that the molecularly imprinted electrode has significantly catalytic reduction and selective action for dioxporomethazine hydrochloride molecule. In pH = 5.6 acetic acid-sodium acetate buffer solution, the reduction peak current and the concentration of dioxopromethazine hydrochloric within 0.01 mg/mL - 1.0 mg/mL showed a good linear relationship, the minimum detection limit was 0.005 mg/mL. The method is simple, can be used for the determination of content of dioxopromethazine hydrochloride tablets.
