Abstract: Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) of Sulfadimethoxine (SDM) were prepared via precipitation polymerization with acrylamide (AM) as functional monomers in acetonitrile. Under the optimized conditions, the adsorption properties were characterized. The static adsorption showed that adsorption of MIPs is 2.08 times higher than that of NIPs. The results indicated that there was only one binding site between MIPs and SDM by Scatchard analysis. Dynamic adsorption experiments, the particle diffusion model and the Elovich models showed that there were two kinds of adsorption models in adsorption process and it was a spontaneous chemical adsorption. Selective experiments showed that MIPs had excellent specific recognition performance to SDM.
