Abstract: The molecularly imprinted polymers were prepared by bulk polymerization using isoamyl alcohol as the template molecule, methacrylic acid as the functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the crosslinking agent, azobisisobutyronitrile as the initiator and chloroform as the porogen. The polymers were characterized by infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopye and thermal gravimetric analyzer. Its adsorption properties were investigated by dynamic adsorption, static adsorption and selective adsorption experiments. The results showed that the isoamyl alcohol molecularly imprinted polymers exhibited good specific adsorption capacity. It could be used as solid phase extraction filler for the separation, enrichment and detection of isoamyl alcohol in liquor.
