Abstract: Using butyl alcohol as template molecule, molecularly imprinted polymers were prepared by bulk polymerization. The butyl alcohol molecularly imprinted polymers(MIPs) were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and infrared spectroscopy(IR). Static adsorption, dynamic adsorption and selective adsorption experiments were carried out. The experimental results showed that the butyl alcohol MIPs exhibited good adsorption and recognition abilities, with separation factors and imprinting factor of 2.057 and 2.123, respectively. The polymers have the characteristics of simple preparation, good reusability and high selectivity, and could be used as solid phase extraction materials for the separation, enrichment and detection of butyl alcohol residue in food.
