Abstract: The acetaminophen molecularly imprinted polymer was synthesized using paracetamol as template molecule, acetonitrile as solvent, acrylamide as functional monomer and EGDMA(ethylene glycol dimethacrylate) as crosslinking agent, AIBN(AIBN) as initiator agent. The influence factors for polymer adsorption performance were discussed. The appropriate conditions for synthesis of polymers were: the ratio of imprinting molecule, the functional monomer, crosslinking agent was 1:4:20(mol), particle size was 0.068~0.075 mm, the temperature was 60 °C. Under the best conditions, the APAP-MIP showed very strong identification capability, which adsorption capacity was 227.6 mg/g of APAP after 6h, for reference the adsorption quantity of molecular acetanilide was only 64.3 mg/g. The results showed that APAP-MIP had strong selective adsorption performance.
