Abstract: A highly sensitive, highly selective and low cost sensor for glucose determination was prepared based on the molecular-imprinted technique and electrochemical detection method. The sensor was used in the determination of glucose in beer and apple samples. In the assay, the sensor was characterized by cyclic voltammetry method in K3[Fe(CN)6] solution. The glucose concentration can be determined in the range of 0.01-2 μmol/L with a detection limit of 7.68 x 10-9 mol/L by recording the redox currents of K3[Fe(CN)6/K4[Fe(CN)6]. The sensor is simple and convenient in the process of fabrication and determination, and shows good reproducibility and recovery in real sample determination.
