Abstract: Molecularly imprinted polymeric membranes were prepared from various oligopeptide tweezers by adopting Boc-D-Trp as a print molecule. Molecularly imprinted membranes recognized the D- isomer of Ac-Trp, of which absolute configuration was the same as that of the print molecule, from racemic Ac-Trp mixtures, while the control membranes hardly showed chiral recognition ability. Those membranes transported Ac-D-Trp in preference to the corresponding enantiomer by electrodialysis. Permselectivity toward the D-isomer exceeded the adsorption selectivity
