Abstract: The functional monomer of methylacrylic acid (MAA) and acrylamide (AM) were evaluated using computer simulation technological, the MAA was selected as functional monomer. By coupling action of 3-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxysilane (MPS), polymethylacrylic acid (PMAA) was grafted on the surface of silica particles. Using solution polymerization method, the molecular imprinted polymer Tp5-MIP was obtained using PMAA/SiO2 as vector, thymopentin as the template molecular and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EDMA) as the crosslinking agent. Both static and dynamic binding properties of Tp5-MIP for thymopentin were studied. Result shows that Tp5-MIP exhibits excellent binding affinity and specific selectivity for the template molecule. The recognition resulted from the imprinting process.
