Abstract: This study reports cholesterol adsorption from artificial human plasma using molecular imprinted polymeric (MIP) nanostructures prepared with different template:monomer ratios. After adsorption efficiency was tested by standard cholesterol solution, MIPs were performed to artificial human plasma. Effects of solvent and dilution ratio on the cholesterol removal from plasma were tested. Under optimum conditions, considerably high cholesterol was adsorbed from hypercholesterolemic plasma (95.33 %).
