Abstract: The malachite green molecularly imprinted microspheres were synthesized by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer radical (RAFT) polymerization and precipitation polymerization, with the dibenzyltrithiocarbonate (DBTTC) as reversible RAFT reagent. The influence of solvent and ratio of monomer/AIBN/DBTTC on the morphology of the polymer were studied by scanning electron microscope. The adsorption properties of the polymer were studied. The results indicated that the polymer microspheres synthesized under the optimized conditions had uniform particle size, good dispersibility and specific recognition selectivity, of which adsorption was higher than traditional method. The MIP as solid phase extraction (SPE) materials was used for separation, enrichment of MG in crayfish and aquaculture water with HPLC. The recoveries of the method were in the range of 77.3% to 100.6%, with RSD less than 5.1%. The limit of detection was 0.37 μg/L.
